This is the outside of the flats main building, taken in JANUARY 2008 , located in the inner wall it is very central. There is some parking outside and in general this is a quite area, although you should expect some noise as it is in a city and in particular during the festival when people are up and active quite late.  The flat is located within the city wall and is only 5 minutes walk to the centre and the Popes Palace.

BELOW : This is GATE LAZARE in Avignon where you walk or drive through to get to the flat. You can see the flat just behind it. These pictures were taken on the 5th JANAUARY 2008 so its not summer ! The gate is lit up for Xmas.

ABOVE - This is the secure entrance to the flat, there is also another set of doors before getting to the flats front door. These doors are electronically controlled. No doubt you will be very safe here.
